The date June 11th 2022 will live in history as the date the National Average for the cheapest grade of gas exceeded $5 per gallon. The average for California is $6.45 gallon. That was the 33rd of 34 days that gas increased in price for both California and the USA. Petroleum Experts predict it will hit $6 gallon, possibly before the end of summer.
